The house , as we see it , is a sanctuary from the world. A haven for the occupants. This home is no different and presents itself to the street as a fortress . As you enter and peel back the layers there is a softness that comes from the light, the colours and materials throughout but specifically the use of large drops of fabric that act in a theatrical way radically changing the use and meaning of the spaces inside out outside the house.

Continue on through from the entry and the house folds into the pool that complete surrounds one end of the house opening up to the sea and the Waitemata.
